LaRose Restorative Justice Book Study

Tuesday's beginning January 5, 2021 - February 16, 2021, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

We are offering this series of classes on Tuesday evenings through a book study of LaRose a novel by author Louise Erdrich.  She is a Native American author who exemplifies the indigenous beginnings of international Restorative Justice. The Native American characters in this book develop into a circle of stakeholders that go through the process of finding justice that is restorative for all of them. At the end of this class, we will go through a role-play scenario to understand the roles that stakeholders play in finding a way forward for all concerned.

If interested or have questions, contact Rev. Beth Harbaugh, pastor of Women at the Well: womenatthewell@iaumc.org or (319) 540-1644.
