The Connectional Ministries team of the Iowa Annual Conference is here to help local churches be more effective in mission and ministry, in your own communities and around the world.
The Connectional Ministry Council is a network of groups engaged with the poor, with students, with social justice, with hands-on mission projects, and with disciple-making in all its many variations.

There are still several openings which have not been filled for the coming Annual Conference year. You can find a document below which will detail nearly 40 openings for which we invite you to offer names for potential nomination. You will note that the openings are district and inclusivity specific as we attempt to honor our Rules regarding the make-up of our conference agencies. Ten of the openings are for youth or young adults.
You may be interested to know that currently our Conference has 438 persons serving in volunteer capacities as members of our 37 Conference level agencies, committees, and organizations listed in the Conference Journal. Of those, 208 are clergy persons and 230 are lay persons. Nearly fifty-five percent of our conference agency members are women, but only 10% identify as racial/ethnic. We are seeking more interested ethic persons to broaden our perspectives. Please take the time to consider how you can be a part of our conference leadership teams.
